Point data

Point data-set includes 1Hz location, processed radar picks, final airborne gravity data and levelled and microlevelled aeromagnetic data. This database only includes data along main survey lines, tie lines, and long transits. Data in turns is excluded. Database channels are defined in table below. For more details on data processing see individual dataset pages. Note in release version 1 (V1) gravity and magnetic data are only available for the fully processed main high resolution grid.

Gridded Data

Gridded data products are also presented. Gravity data are gridded at 4.4 km, 1/2 the line spacing, using a minimum curvature procedure. Aeromagnetic data are gridded at 880 m, 1/10 line spacing, using a minimum curvature procedure. Radar derived bedrock topography, surface elevation and ice thickness were gridded at 2.2 km cell size, 1/4 line spacing, using a kriging gridding algorithm. For bedrock topography the data gridded included picked sub-ice bed elevation, the measured surface elevation coincident with rock outcrop (http://www.add.scar.org/ downloaded 2014), and where no other data was present within 2 km along line bed elevation sampled from BEDMAP2, corrected to the ellipsoid.
