Use of the Runway and all facilities (including fuel and accommodation) is normally restricted to operators providing services to national science programs, except all aircraft accepted in an emergency or as a diversion airfield. Issued 01-Oct-2012 // Rothera Runway - Rothera runway is unavailable to all fixed and rotary wing traffic during BAS DASH 7 PNR operations. It is mandatory for Commanders of all inbound aircraft to contact Rothera Operations on the day of and before departure to ascertain details of runway availability. Any aircraft arriving during the periods of DASH 7 PNR will not be given landing or holding permission under any circumstances. All aircraft arrivals must therefore be planned to arrive outside the projected daily PNR periods.

Skiway located on a moving ice shelf data accurate on date of issue only.
Skiway marked with flags every 30 meters. Both thresholds marked with triple flags. Lead in flags for skiway 08 only. Land on groomed surface to the south of the flags. Multiple roadways in the area marked with drum lines, ensure skiway is correctly identified before landing.
